MacGregor Industrial and Autosmart have been in partnership for over 20 years. Autosmart manufacture an A-Z range of cleaning chemicals for the automotive industry from Traffic Film Removers to Alloy Wheel Cleaner, MacGregor Industrial Supplies stock the full range in containers from 5 litres to 1000 litres.

The construction division is another MacGregor success story, with the introduction of Keith Bremner (ex Hilti) and his team of three external representatives, it has grown from strength to strength. The team are comfortable in dealing with all sizes of business from civil construction to house building, and all sizes from one man to multi-national. Our twice weekly delivery services to all parts of the Highlands and Islands ensures timely deliveries from our vast stock range. Brands stocked include Metabo, Milwaukee, Fischer Fixings, Leica, Max, Tyrolit, Makita, MBW etc. with full workshop repair facilities for every brand we sell.

Since opening the doors to the new Elgin Premises in early August 2008, the Elgin Branch has been steadily consolidating the reputation built up by MacGregor Industrial Supplies through two decades of doing business in the area. The decision to open the Elgin branch was driven by our customers, our Sales Reps were continually getting feed back that although we delivered to Moray 3 times a week we need a presence in the area.

Our Fencing & Agriculture division is the newest addition to the MacGregor product portfolio following the recruitment of three staff formerly with the McArthur Group.  This division sees experienced sales staff Rose Anderson and Shabana Imran alongside sales manager Grant Jamieson.  The team are on hand to help and advise customers on all types of fencing from a simple garden post and rail fence to a vast deer fence in the hills covering many miles.  Whatever the job we are able to provide all stockfence, netting, coil wire, barbed wire, timber, gates, accessories and tools to suit your individual requirements.

Breathing apparatus, escape kits and stretchers are items people generally associate with the emergency services not an industrial supplier. But the addition of these products to MacGregors Plant Hire division underlines the company's drive to ensure its clients are kept at the forefront of their industries with the very latest in health and safety gear, however hazardous the conditions be it offshore, confined spaces or tunnels. And not only do the Hire team supply these products, they can also calibrate safety gas monitors in-house which ensures the customer is fully equipped to the highest level as quickly and as efficiently as possible.

Our Hygiene and Catering Department has been an integral part of Macgregors since the company was formed in 1985 and has grown and developed with the market place. We supply to a broad range of businesses and industries including Hotels, Restaurants, Pubs and Clubs, Education, Hospitals, Offices, Contract Cleaning/Catering Leisure Centres and Food Processing Factories. Our customer list includes the following high profile names including Baxters of Speyside, Cairngorm Mountain Resort, Morrisons Facilities Management and Skibo Castle.

MacGregor Industrial And Hydraulic Hose provides ‘off the shelf’ solutions to many customers throughout the Highlands & Islands of Scotland. Specialist products held for industries from Aquaculture to Engineering, Offshore to Distilling and many more. With ½ million pounds of stock, customers can benefit from same-day delivery. In-house manufacturing allows customers to have fittings made to their own specifications, along with the capability to swage & pressure test hoses up to 6”. As distributors for leading brands such as Stauff, SMC Pneumatics & Ralco Tubings, customers need never be stuck.

The Ironmongery and Fixings division has come a long way in six years since it's introduction with in MacGregor Industrial Supplies family. Launching with traditional Ironmonger before moving into Architectural Ironmongery offering specification and master keying service. The department now offers a wealth of experience with over 100 years of industry experience in the team we can cater for all Ironmongery requirements as well as Architectural and Industrial Door sets. 

More Than Mowers.

From the green-fingered enthusiast pottering about in the garden to the professional tree surgeon, MacGregors Forest And Groundcare Division caters for both ends of the spectrum - and everyone in between. From the entry level domestic lawn mowers to professional green keepers, mowers chainsaws, strimmers, hedge trimmers, chipper shredders, forestry brush cutters, power blowers and cultivators are all available from MacGregor Forest & Groundcare.

Building on our acquisition of Highland Lubricants, this department grows from strength to strength. We are now Highland distributors of Q8 oils and greases along with Petro Canada’s range of food associated products. We carry all Q8 products in sizes from 4 litre cans to 1000 litre totes.

Since opening the doors to the new Portree premises in 2012, the branch has been steadily consolidating the reputation built up by MacGregor Industrial Supplies through decades of doing business in the area.

MacGregor Industrial Supplies bought the assets of Industrial Saw Services of Muir of Ord in 2009. The business and staff were relocated to 7 Harbour Road and integrated with our Forest and Groundcare Department. The acquisition gave saw and tool sharpening a new focus and already there has been substantial investment in new machinery.

MacGregor Schoolwear is part of the commercial and school wear branding team based in Inverness. Over the years MacGregor Industrial Supplies has strived to provide a quality product and service to all our customers may it be an engineering firm in the Moray Firth or a hotel is Skye. These values will continue for our new school wear division.

Key to MacGregor's success and growth has been its aftercare and repair service. The increasing range of products offered by MacGregor Industrial Supplies always comes with the added benefit of being technically supported by an in-house repair department.

The main showroom at MacGregors is an Aladdins cave for industry and commerce with a staggering 40,000 separate product lines on offer. 

With a considerable customer base in the Western Isles, it made complete business sense for MacGregor to open a depot in Stornoway, currently staffed by four people: Lyn Macmillan, Mandy Beaton, Marie MacLeod and Catherine Mackenzie (Stornoway Depot Manager).

MacGregors Welding Equipment And Consumables Division prides itself on its knowledge, experience and record in the industry. From dealing with the DIY market to everyday users in the automotive, sheet metalwork, general fabrication, maintenance, rig repair and the sub-sea industry, MacGregor Industrial Supplies follows the same principles — quality products and quality service.

From corporate clothing for office staff to high visibility jackets for workmen resurfacing Scotland's roads, to sterile and disposable clothing for the food and medicinal industries,  MacGregor Industrial Supplies Workwear division supplies them all. With over a £1/2million worth of stock instore, the department has come a long way from its early days occupying a few shelves it shared with other departments.
